Site Administrator / Travel Coordinator

Thompson Bros have an immediate opening for a Site Administrator / Travel Coordinator to fulfil a role in a steadily growing and busy remote location in the Fort McMurray area.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Contact and arrange employee onboarding
  • Book orientations / camp rooms / flights
  • Handle employee / subcontractor related documentation
  • Organize and submit payroll hours / equipment usage hours
  • Prepare, review and track hourly LEMS
  • Complete and submit various internal and client required reporting
  • Update and maintain equipment related documentation
  • Issue and track purchase orders and corresponding invoicing
  • Maintain and / or create various tracking documents
  • Overall site support for management and crew


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of administration experience
  • 3+ years of earthworks construction experience
  • Thorough knowledge of heavy equipment and its functions
  • Proficiency in Office programs
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and as a team
  • Able to work under pressure and under strict deadlines
  • Possess a valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work in the Ft McMurray area and live in remote camps, working a rotational schedule
  • CSTS/OSSA or BSO Certification
  • Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
